Born in 1979 in Wilmette, Ill., Wentz dropped out of DePaul University one month shy of graduation to focus on his music career.
In 2005, his band Fall Out Boy made it big when their sophomore album Under the Cork Tree debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s albums chart. Five years later, Wentz started a new musical project, Black Cards.
In addition to his musical talents, Wentz also has a clothing line called Clandestine Industries.
